Power Skipper Design - The Power Skip was developed in conjunction with our Louisiana shallow water skippers.  Many of their waters are canals and close combat areas.  Overhanging trees, docks and cover requiring extreme accuracy was the focal point of our design.  The PS is accurate, but also has the perfect action to load a frog or a spinnerbait creating the necessary lure speed.  

Water willow and the Alabama shake with a swim jig is another highlight technique for the Power Skipper.  Our tour anglers believe the rod has the perfect action to drive the hook, while the balance reduces any fatigue associated with the technique.

Finally, we've been informed this is one of the best Kayak angler rods we've created.  It's a perfect length for maneuverability and it's exceptionally versatile.  Put 30lb braid mainline on your favorite reel, and it'll allow for almost any baitcast technique.  Tie on a 15lb leader to the braid and it's an exceptional jig/t-rig rod, or go strait braid to your frog/plopper/swimjig.   The sky's the limit with our Power Skipper.

All "Production Rods" are covered under a limited warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 3 years for the original owner.

For damage caused in manufacturing of the rod or from defects in components, Alpha Angler will, at the company's discretion, repair or replace the product at no charge. Shipping to Alpha Angler is not covered, but return shipping will be.
